If you are using AWS Route53 as your DNS server, the setup is quite similar to the
GoDaddy Example, except that AWS does not allow
root-level CNAME configuration.
This means you cannot create a CNAME entry for
puffins.xyz. A CNAME is reserved
for a sub-domain only -
www.puffins.xyz.
If you don't need a redirect from your root-domain to a sub-domain, then this is fine. However, if you
do require a redirect, please see the
Setting up domain documentation.
